Another great weekend of results for the Club with the majority of our teams involved in Cup Ties making progress to the next round.

Our 13 Premier faced a tough battle in Limerick in the SFAI Troy Cup against Fairview Rangers but came through 4-0 with goals from Cian Dunne, Shane Stokes (2) and Ryan Graydon they play Carrigaline from Cork at home in the quarter final.  The 12 Premier were also on the road making the trip to Castlebar where they ran out easy 5-0 winners against Manulla F C and they earned a home quarter final in the SFAI Norton Cup against either Swords Celtic or Templemore.

Killavilla were no match for our 13 Brenfer Premier in the last 16 of the SFAI Troy Cup with Tony Gleeson’s team winning 3-0 at Shanowen Road but a tougher obstacle awaits in the shape of Malahide United away in the quarter final. A last minute goal at home against Ballinasloe saw our 11A Sat move into the quarter final of the SFAI Menton Seery Cup and a home tie against Arklow Town or Ardee Celtic.

Following good wins last week for our 18 Super and 17 Premier they were not as fortunate this week as they both suffered defeats in cup ties the 17′s going down surprisingly 4-3 to Ballybrack Boys in the DDSL PFAI Cup quarter final and the 18′s losing 3-1 to UCD/Mount Merrion in the FAI Youth Cup.  There was also a surprising 3-2 reversal for our 16 Premier in the League away at Cherry Orchard while goals from Shane Elworthy & Sean Goulding - his 100th for the Club saw the 15 Premier win 2-0 at home to Lourdes Celtic.

There were also good wins for our 14.1, 17.2 &  17.3 in the League.
