Despite the unfavourable weather conditions over the weekend most of our teams got through their fixtures and generally it was a good week results wise all round, with both our 11A’s Saturday and Sunday making progress in the SFAI Menton Seery Cup with wins over Leixlip United and Raheny United.

In the FAI Youth Cup our 18 Super saw off Crumlin United 5-1 but there were Cup defeats for our 19′s & 17 Major.  The 12 Premier came from two goals down to draw 3-3 away at St Josephs Boys while there were also comfortable league wins for our 13 and 14 premier teams.  The 15 premier had a very good 1-0 away win against Malahide United despite playing for the last 30 minutes with ten men – while the 16 premier ran riot in the SFAI Barry Cup against Home Farm’s 16 Major side winning 11-0.  There were also good league wins for our 17.3, 15.2 & 13.2 while our 16 Major picked up their first point of the season away to Ballyoulster United.

The first team scored an emphatic 4-0 league win at home to O’Devanney Dunard in dreadful conditions at Shanowen Road yesterday.

The last round of Schoolboy fixtures before the Christmas break will take place on December 10th & 11th and the season will resume on January 21st & 22nd 2012.
