SKB PLAYERS IN HIBERNIA CUP WIN

Alex O’Hanlon and Eoghan Stokes were part of the FAI Emerging Talent squad which overcame FC Utrecht by 3 goals to 1 in a thrilling end to the 2010 Hibernia Trophy.  The talented FAI squad had a perfect tournament, beating Linfield,Crystal Palace and Liverpool along the way.

FIRST TEAM GAIN THEIR FIRST WIN

Following their disappointing 3-1 defeat on the opening day of the season away to Corduff our First Team got their first three points of the season with a convincing 6-1 away win yesterday morning at Belurgan  F C. The goal scorers were Gareth Murphy (3) Eamon Moylan (2) and Robbie Coombes. Their next fixture is on Thursday night August 26th when they play local rivals Whitehall Celtic in the VEC grounds Whitehall at 6.45pm.

Our Senior Saturday side hopefully will get off the mark tonight against Kilbarrack United at Roseglen Road (6.45pm).  They suffered defeat in both their League outings to date going down 2-4 to Dingle United and 1-2 to Killester United.
