Two ex St Kevins Boys players Robbie Brady (Manchester United) and Jeffrey Hendrick (Derby County) are included in the Republic of Ireland’s under 19 squad who played the Ukraine in Morton Stadium last night (0-0) and who play the same opposition in Frank Cooke Park on Thursday at 1pm.
A St Kevins Boys Academy selection played host to Danish under 14 National Cup winners F C Roskilde in a friendly on Thursday last at DCU, goals in either half from Shane Elworthy and Chippy McDonald were not enough to secure victory in a very entertaining eighty minutes of football. The Danes ran out 3-2 winners.
