IRISH CAP FOR CIARAN DOYNE / LATEST NEWS

Congratulations to Ciaran Doyne from our under 16 Premier team who received his first International Cap during the Republic of Ireland’s under 17 squad’s recent trip to a tournament in Hungary where the opposition included Croatia, Hungary and Serbia.

Two ex St Kevins Boys players Robbie Brady (Manchester United) and Jeffrey Hendrick (Derby County) are included in the Republic of Ireland’s under 19 squad who played the Ukraine in Morton Stadium last night (0-0) and who play the same opposition in Frank Cooke Park on Thursday at 1pm.

A St Kevins Boys Academy selection played host to Danish under 14 National Cup winners F C Roskilde in a friendly on Thursday last at DCU, goals in either half from Shane Elworthy and Chippy McDonald were not enough to secure victory in a very entertaining eighty minutes of football.  The Danes ran out 3-2 winners.  The SKB squad was:  Evan Gaffney, Luca Gratzer, Thomas Tiernan, Ciaran McDonald, Jordan O’Reilly, Sean Heaney, Ryan Robinson, Keith McCracken, Eoghan Stokes, Richie Purdy, Shane Elworthy, Evan Osam, James Dunne, Eric Kemani, Ben Greene, Josh Clifford.
