The boys travelled away to Dunboyne on Saturday looking for a further
three points following their rather lack lustre performance of last
week. The resurgance came from the kick off with SKB playing some
lovely passing football and in particular causing problems in midfield
for the Co Meath side. They applied pressure throughout the first
half without reward however when the first goal came early after the
break, it was worth waiting for. James Swan carried the ball from
deep inside his own half and slid it effortlessly past the dunboyne
keeper for the opener. The second goal came shortly afterwards from a
ball won in the middle by Danny Burnell, who passed it out to Aaron
McFadden on the right wing, cleared up the line to Shane Carter who
then beat the two defenders and lobbed the keeper.
Overall a good team performance and a confidence boosting return to
winning ways.
