In the SFAI Menton-Seery Cup quarter final our 11 Premier fended off a strong challange from our very well organised 11 Major team before eventually coming out on top 3-0 with goals from Ryan Graydon,Evan Pierce and Cian McGarry. The Premier side found it very difficult to break down the Major outfit whose tactics and discipline were spot-on and a credit to their management team who have done excellent work with this group of players and they can be justifably proud of their display and their run to the quarter- final of the National Cup. A trip to Clonmel Town or Avenue United in Clare is the next stop in the Premier teams’ quest for honours.
